People try to stop cutting in a central park...12 days my friends and other people live in Gorky park and fight for the trees everyday. Some of them are already in a hospital

The Defenders of the forest held 2 weeks, but June 2 last protected trees were cut down. The bandits beat several people, while police arrested several more. The defenders had gone on strike before Kharkov Camara Municipal. There police arrested two other men and dispersed the defenders. There are trials of the arrested defenders of the forest. Two of them received 15 days in prison, some are acquitted. Now the fight moved into the political stage.
Tree cutting continues in Gorky Park and other forests of the city .

The collected signatures are used to initiate a referendum on the issue.
The first public hearings were held, but the results were falsified the city authorities. But seems it is just a beginning.
