I was just asking. I don't know well the area - Lisbon - to tell you if it's updated.

If you have any problems, you can buy another when you arrive. Simple.

Sorry, but i'm not sure that u can ride a bike in the roads # 2 . Even if is not forbidden, they are for sure to dangerous. I believe max speed for cars is 120 KM or at least 90 km.

If u are using the maps for planning, I would advise to use Google, microsoft and ViaMichellin online maps. They are the most up to date and acurate you can find.

Now I'm reading the guidebook about Portugal. There are many information about historical objects and points of interest. Unfortunately, there isn't any information about good-looking objects of the nature. Can anybody tell me about that objects which are somewhere between Porto and Lisboa?

Hello!
Great thanks everybody for your answers.
Now I almost finished our route )).
I think our trip will be beginning from 14th till 27th September. What can the average temperature be in this time (daily and nightly)?
And once more question: how mutch is an usual dinner at a little inexpensive portuguese restaurant?

Hello A-Mistral , about the roads, you can´t ride on roads #1 and #2, and every time you see the forbidden sign.

Hello, A-Mistral
Regarding Bike transport in TAP flight I never had that experience myself but i made this copy from TAP site so it might help you something:
"
Bicycles :

It must be properly packaged in an appropriate box, and it is always advisable that the bicycle handle bar be rotated at a 90 degree angle and that it be removed, as well as the pedals taken off.
Service charges:

Domestic and European Flights: 50 EUR per one way
Intercontinental Flights: 100 EUR per one way
Exception:
- Trips originated in Brazil will benefit from the transportation of a not motorized bicycle, duly packed with pedals removed and the handlebar rotated at 90 degrees, considered as part of the free baggage allowance, within 158cm (62 inches).

NOTE: The conditions and amounts indicated above are valid only on flights operated by TAP or PGA."
So as you can read above, only from Brasil the transport will be free of charge, but you could contact the TAP office in Moscow for more accurate details.
ByBye now and i wish you guys a good trip

P.S.
Check this topic: http://www.forumbtt.net/showthread.php/19823-Absa-Cape-Epic-2010-Valério-amp-Celina
page 7 and you will have the clue you need regarding the BOX !!

Ola, Mike SP :)

В правилах авиакомпании TAP мы натыкались на упоминание о жестких "боксах", вот и пытаемся уточнить.
А Вы пользовались этой авиакомпанией?

Ola A-Mistral!
