Hi Ben and welcome You have a lot of trails in a very nice place call´s Serra de Sintra and its near Cascais , you can find there a variety of trails and terrain, here we call "Meca do BTT" in this forum if you do a search for "Sintra" you find a lot of stuff. About the groups you have a lot too , and on sundays you`ll find a lot of people riding there. Pack your bike and come here cause you gonna love it See you soon
